Words of MK Ahmed Tibi: I am sure that a person who violates an unjustified law, or whose conscience is not completely clear, and is willing to pay the price and be imprisoned in order to raise public awareness regarding the injustice in the law, then that person is showing his respect to the most supreme values. No Mr. Tibi. Civilized people dont break laws in order to raise public awareness. Moreover Government officials need to set an example by working within the Law and not outside of it. This doesn't even touch upon the security considerations especially in the light of the incident with ex-MK Bashara who more than abused his governmental post in Israel. Mr. Tibi should be reminded that in Israel an Arab may be a part of the government but in Arab countries (where racism is #1) not one single Jew sits in their governments! Talk about racism
