On Friday whist some were protesting over the lack of elections the Muslim Brotherhood were holding their own traditional kill the Jews rally. Before the election they want to make themselves electable and talk about toning down their radical views because they need to get elected but once in power with a substantial majority in the parliament then thats another matter. With the presidential candidates even the moderates are saying the peace treaty needs to be changed and some are calling for the thing to just be torn up. If the Muslim Brotherhood take charge of the parliament then I think its safe to say Israel won't have a peace treaty with Egypt for long. The military will also probably be told to turn a blind eye to weapons smuggling into Gaza from Sinai, if the Muslim Brotherhood can find an excuse to justify it. The US should suspend all arms shipments to Egypt for at least a year until we know what kind of policies this new government is going to adopt and who is running the show.
