Re "Israel lost the war...", tell that to the increasing number of Lebanese that are pointing to their dead and wounded and destruction and judging the war in that context. Tell that to the increasing number of Lebanese that are hostile to Hez-E-Bola for obvious reasons. Tell that to Nasrallah who is now saying he wouldn't have started the war had he know, according to you, that he would "win" the war. Give us a break. From a stratetic and military point of view the result were mixed, no doubt. But there are two critical points. The first is understood by realizing that this was just a skirmish and that Israel is already developing a solution to Hez-E-Bolah defences. The second is more profound. Wars like this one are not won by anyone but, rather, are lost by civilians on both sides of the border. To many Lebanese and Israelies that is fully understood. But that most important point is lost on groups like Hez-E-bolah, Hamas, El Quida, Syria and Iran.
