"If a government led by Hamas ... is established, ... Israel and the world will ignore it and make it irrelevant." With one statement Olmert has shown that he has learned nothing, knows almost nothing, and is a rank amateur. Israel, the country who wins, but cannot accept its victories, will be unable to ignore Hamastan, as the Oslo escapade showed. What fool rehabilitates his avowed enemy when he is 2 steps away from "irrelevance"? And then arms his enemy?! The world will not be able to ignore Hamastan because of the "inalienable rights of the Palestinian people" who democratically chose its government. Not that the world has a solution to terrorist intransigence, but it didn't have one for PLO terrorism, either. That's the beauty of politics - the ability to talk out of both sides of the mouth and completely ignore reality, and convince yourself that you are right, whatever you are saying at the moment! And, finally, they will certainly not be able to ignore Hamas terrorism
