Things happen for a reason and with these coalition partners, did anyone expect anything different? So instead of announcing the core issues at Annapolis, the PM announced freezing all settlement activity and dismantling outposts. As a beginning driver in 1976 I just got my license at 16 years, and on a family trip driving along hwy #1 off the California coast from SF to LA, my father stops at the side of the road and says, "Smadar, you're driving!" He couldn't bear driving the whinding, steep road which had the cliff just over 2 meters off. In my mind, because the road in any case leads to a destination, it's used daily, and if one stays on the path driving slower at times, why should anything go wrong? I believe PM Olmert is a man of determination and will deliver the obligations of the Road Map. Look at his coalition partner, Mr. Lieberman,"it is obvious that the Palestinians'minimum is far beyond Beilin's maximum,so we should abandon the diplomatic track &concentrate on security"
