Rabinovich analysis of some prevailing winds is correct. Regardless of what several responders want to believe the W+M book is well referenced, academic analysis of the Lobby which adds to the cummulative notion of what a peace with the Palestinians should look and be like. But Rabinovich does say nothing about how is Israel going to respond when and if (and I doubt these questions are pertinent) these prevailing notion will be put to the test. It is doubtful the US attitude towards the conflict will change judging by the rhetorics emanating from most presidential candidates and the disposition of most conressmen and senators.
