    Having an oil emargo is an act of war. If the west try to do this then what is Iran going to lose by closing the Strait of Hormoz. Let everyone suffer. If they really want to hurt the regime in Iran they should put a travell ban on people in charge and their children. Stopping them purchasing real estate in the west as recently the guy in Charge of Iranian Nationatl bank who embezelled several Milliard dollars moved to Canada with his canadian passport and Owns several expensive properties. The son of Rafsanjani is doing phd in Oxford university and they also own a lot of Properties in the west. Hurt them not the ordinary people in Iran by Banning Iranian airlines buying civilian planes. Previously USA and Britain placed an oil embargo on Iran when the nationalist democratic government of Dr Mosadeq tried to nationalise the Iranian oil iundusry in Iran in 1950s and establish a constitutional democray. They organised a coup d'état after establishing oil emabargo and Removed Dr Mosadeq. Middle east could have been different if he would have succeeded
