Holocaust,as if no other genocides occurred in history and are currently occurring even as we speak. The article does not explain whether this Greek historian was saying that Greek jews were not killed or the entire event of the Holocaust. And what is the evidence that his work led to violence? There is a definite rise in lack of tolerance for israel's policies towards the Palestinians and more especially after the massacre of Lebanese civilians in last year's war in Lebanon. All over Europe and even in the U.S. people are angry and it is not necessarily this guy's writings that has caused the feeling. As for his claim that he is engaged in historical research, sure why not?He is a historian. That is the nature of historical enquiry. To imprison him for that is sheer idiocy, unless it can be shown that he is engaging in hate literature.
