Oh my G'd, one thing is to be a Leftist, another to be so blind and naive. - Comment - Israel News | Haaretz Daily Newspaper

The reasons for reunification may be in the shifting power scenes of the Muslim Middle East. But there's no way Haaretz Editorial can be sound by shoving Iran's intentions, Egypt's new agenda and Hamas' terrorism and wish to expand its launch-pad for it to the West Bank as something positive. It is only positive for Jihadism, and if it lasts, it won't be conducive to statehood simply because Israel can't permit a terrorist organization who eulogizes bin Laden as "a holy Arab warrior" to terrorize it yet from another territory. I don't think Palestinians are nearer, but darther away from statehood by embracing a terrorist organization bent on destroying Israel, dedicated to terror, sponsored by Iran's regime and hailing bin Laden. No matter how you twist this, it just doesn't bode well for any force of peace, security and reasonable justice. It is hardly good news for Palestinians, but only for their terror masterminds in Tehran, Damascus and Gaza.
