Levy is right. Failure to deal with 1967 when the international community was still in love with plucky little Israel is making us go back to 1948 and acknowledge the justice of the Palestinian claims. Israel could not have been created without the dispossession of the overwhelming majority of the people living there at the time. Israel is essentially a colonial enterprise and the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous has been long standing and brutal. Don't worry, Israel will not be curing their pain but Israel will be facing up to the consequences of its arrogence and actions in denying Palestinians their rights to live in their ancestral lands. Maybe not tomorrow, but do you really think Israel can continue to occupy another people for another couple of decades. The gig is up.
