Netanyahu is ONLY interested in staying in power for as long as possible, and if he does ANYTHING to aggravate either the Right or the Left, his so-called coalition would fall apart immediately. That was Olmert's problem, too. The days of Begin, Rabin and Shron -- where Israel's leaders put Israel's interests first, not their own -- are gone and are unlikely to come back. Every single politician in Israel is an opportunist and/or a dogmatist. You're not going to see a "P" of Palestine until America and the rest of the influential world grow a pair and exert some serious pressure on whoever's in power in Israel to cut the bull, dismantle the settlements, and get the hell out of the West Bank. I'd say we're looking at 20-30 years.
