If the US attacks Iran with their equipment they can not only destroy the nuclear sites but the entire Iranian military and from the air. Destroy their missile facilities and they can't attack Israel directly, destroy their air forces and navy and you turn Iran from a emerging regional superpower into one of the weakest countries in the region and no threat to anybody. If Iran is allowed to continue to develop nukes then one day Israel and the rest of the world will have to deal with a nuclear armed Iran and what happens when the Iranian missiles have the range to reach to reach mainland America, which is just a matter of time. It will be a disaster for the whole world because we will have the US and Iran pointing nukes at each other and unlike during the cold war the Iranians don't go by the MAD doctrine ( mutually assured destruction ) because they believe if Allah wants them to launch a nuclear attack on the enemy it doesn't matter if the enemy destroys you in retaliation becuse unlike the infidels any Muslims killed will go to paradise with 72 virgins. Also if Iran gets nukes just watch them start bullying the entire Gulf trying to set oil prices get arab countries to refuse to work to closely with the US etc or refuse to make peace with Israel under any circumstances. There is no way to deal with Iran thats not going to have unpleasant consequences and we have to decide which scenario is worse, wait for Iran to get nukes because we don't want any trouble today or hit iran hard now and accept there will be some short term problems but long term Iran will not be a threat to anyboy. .. Israel can deal with an increase in terror, even a missile barrage but we can't survive a nuclear bomb and so its in everybodies best interest for Iran to be stopped in its tracks now and preferably by the US destroying the entire Iranian military.
