1) Bibi stressed before he went to New York there would be no settlement freeze & his ministers backed that up claim while he was there. 2) Abbas has insisted no talks until there us is a full freeze on building that includes properties that have already been strarted and have been planned for years and East Jerusalem. Bibi can't deliver that and keep his coalition intact even if he wanted to. 3) Obama had trouble even getting them both to come along and sit in the same room together, he certainly didn't expect any political progress. This whole summit was for Obama to get in the media and be seen as working on the peace process and thats all he was expecting it to be. For Obama everything is about image thats why he is a master with the teleprompter but as a president he is an ammuter. They all make some bullshit speeches for the camera and then all go home with exactly the same policies as they had before they came.
