ODP, If the Palestinians meet the Israeli demands, then I would like to think, as you said, Israel will be under enormous pressure to make peace or face sanctions. Unfortunately, a more likely scenerio is that Israel will enter into one sided negotiations where they say: here is what we offer, the offer is on the table for 1 week, take it or leave it.... ....and most likely the offer will suck. The problem with placing ALL the conditions on the weaker party (as was done in Oslo) is that the stronger party (Israel) has no motivation to make reasonable concessions... Sad but true...
