But you are citing a symptom of a greater disease: the practice of groups like Hezbollah and Hamas lodging themselves in civilian population areas and using civilians as human shields. I am surprised that your criticism does not include a criticism of this murderous practice. I would have no problem with choking off these groups with sanctions, but hasn't there been condemnation of the use of sanctions against the Palestinians becauseof their election of Hamas? Do nations actually honor these sanctions? By the way, why hasn't Hezbollah been disarmed yet? I loathe the killing of civilians, but why don't people criticize the groups that use civilians as military strategy? Double standard? You bet!
