ODP, I said what I had to say about Hamas. No weapons, no strength. But the Syria connection to today's events are way off the range of possibilities. Did Bush not just say that he is going to pressure Syria further, if not attack them? (The attack was not explicit, but the possibility exists.) There is no motivation for Syria to be nice anymore, and they would have stopped Meshal if they knew or could. Rather extraordinary explanation, the normal course of events when you put people under siege is the simplest and best. In any case, regards.
