    Jerusalem indeed belongs to Israel or at least part of it, and the other part is disuptable. However, the east part will likely remain under Israel sovereignty forever if that means something. Either because the status quo will prevail or because it will be legally annexed... if this term is relevant whatsover. As you see johnboy. Israel exercises sovereignty over the whole of Jerusalem. It is the legitimate owner,(historically and in present times) although annexation has not been accepted by the I. Community. So what???? Do you see any problem with that? Sweeping sanctions??????Do you see any??? Are they looming???So far I see sweeping sanctions coming over Teheran's head rather than over Jerusalem...which is Israel's capital. You should work harder to convince the Christian majority to shift support from Israel to the palestinians. Things may change then.
