The bombing of the Russian airliner reflects the long conflict between Islamic extremists and Egypt that has spread south to the coastal fantasy land.21:26 25.11.15 | 0 comments
More then 40 years has passed since the 6-days war. Since then the technology of warfare has changed out of all recognition. The WB as a useful buffer state is now redundant. If the Arabs decide to go to war against Israel, the occupation of the WB will not alter the course of the war. What Israel needs to help with its protection is monitoring in the form of technology and human expertise in the WB and Palestine to be a demilitarised state. Both of these were allowed for in the Geneva Accord, the best blueprint yet established for a settlement. If Israel does not get these safeguards in a final resolution it will only have itself to blame. Netanyahu has refused to participate in a peace process. Israel will have to see what the UN decides is a fair resolution.
