One point mentioned in Gideon Levy's article is an end to occupation (of Arab lands). Claiming that this land is promised to Israel by God does not hold water in nthis time and age. Others can claim that Allah or Jesus or whoever promised things or condoned their action. For the question of land, one has to go to a worldly body such as the United Nations. Israel already occupies more land of neighboring countries than alloted to it in the 1947 resolution, more than the land it occupied in 1948. Get out of Golan, the West bank, Gaza and Jerusalem (going back to the original borders not an inch more not an inch less) and you shall ultimately have peace. Peace is a state of mind, and justice sets the stage for the right state of mind ... Barak withdraw from Lebanon, and in general it was good for all..it is only when you tried to re-occupy the south that you paid a heavy price. Live and Let Live.
