Almost all of this article is exactly correct and accurate. But this is one very big, glaring, obfuscation and INaccuracy. All these attitudes apply to the Jewish presence in, and control of, Jaffa, Haifa, and Ramla - not "settlements" as the headline screams. NONE of these "Arab" or "Persian" extremists are speaking about Rabbi Riskin in Efrat or the crazy hilltop youth. They (including Abbas) are very clear that the intention is to do everything possible to get the Jews back to being subjugated or itbach them. It is only in the feverish wishful thinking of progressives and the BS rhetoric of politicians and in the dogmatic baloney of columnists, that the "settlements" are the problem. Jews in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and Jews in Haifa are considered "settlers" by HamasPA and Iran and the Arab League, no matter how much JStreet and others (including well-intentioned fools who ignore reality) repeat their paradigms about those damn national religious Jews, if only they didn't exist everyone would love the Jews. And if only Israel tried out being nine miles wide again everything would be better. And if only Israel became not a Jewish State everything would be sooo wonderful and peacefull. Yeah. Right.
