One problem not mentioned here is that Iran having nuclear capability is seen much more as an Israeli problem than for the rest of us. The rest of us will have to face another nation with nuclear capability, but Israel will find its vaunted nuclear deterrent diminishing greatly in importance. With a nuclear Iran it can no longer threaten others with nuclear destruction without itself being part of that catastrophe. We have to deal with mutual assured destruction already, and have found it is a powerful incentive to peace.
