Hamas is under pressure twice over, from both the worsening domestic situation in the Strip and the militant organization potentially losing its main threat against Israel.23:32 03.05.16 | 0 comments
Obama, under fire in the US for his corrupt Chicago health care politicking, limp-wristed response to terrorism (whose resurgence most here believe he caused) and feckless foreign policy, is NOT going to "stop" any Israeli strikes at Gaza's rocketocracy. Stop Israel from responding savagely to repel rocket attacks on its towns? Not while he is desperately firing drone missiles at Yemen, Pakistan and Afgan for transgressions 10,000 from Amercan suburbs. Not that he's not a hypocrite, its a matter of his political survival - he is well aware that failing to support Israel for doing the same thing he is doing will bring the Congress down on his head, as he just learned from the domestic firestorm senile Mitchell's stupid crack about Israeli aid caused. This time Israel has no illusion of gaining international PR points for risky efforts at sparing Gaza civilians by using ground forces instead of pulverizing air power. There WAS a military solution to the Tamil Tigers. Works with Gaza too.
