Mr. Yitzhaq Rabin, dubbed the Price of Peace by many, drew the contour for an accommodation: 1) Jerusalem will remain united under Israeli sovereignty. 2) The Jordan Valley in the widest sense of the term will remain under Israel's control. 3) Large Jewish settlement blocs will be part of the sovereign state of Israel. 4) A Palestinian state will not be a regular state, e.g. air space and border crossings will be controlled by Israel and the sate must remain demilitarized. Rabin stated the above in his speech before the Knesset in October 1995. Can Obama and his representatives learn a thing or two from Rabin's experience and wisdom or will they attempt to argue with him - he died in 1995 - as they do with Netanjahu who holds very similar views to those of Rabin...??
