You are living in a dream world if you think that he can. For once you need to really THINK about this from Obama's point of view. He wants this Israel/Palestine conflict finished, and so he wants the two sides to sit in a tent until they agree on a deal. It is pointless for him to get them into that tent **if** Israel reserves the right for Yishai to waddle in and drop a big, smelly turd on the carpet. And - make no mistake - that is what will happen if Israel insists on the "right" to continue construction in East Jerusalem WHILE the talks are happening. Yishai's Big Ol' Dump on Joe Biden's head has taught Obama that he can not trust the Israeli's to act with restraint or commonsense i.e. ISRAEL's OWN ACTIONS have shown Obaman that this govt will abuse that privilege. He must take that "right" away from Israel, and he has to do that no matter who pleads with him to lay off Poor Little Bibi.
