Number 1, simply said, at least Olmert is in Israel, not in Baghdad by the Bay, San Francisco. Perhaps some of that area's unreality has worn off on you. Olmert's relatives seem not to have deterred his loyalties to his physical and spiritual homeland, while you remain comfortable in Frisco away from Katy rockets glaring from their launch pads. What does his family have to do with him? Germans born after WW2 are not held accountable for the sins of their parents. Here, the parent should not be held for the sins of the children (and wife). Whose to say what Sharon would have done if allowed? Maybe nothing? If Israel had not attacked Lebanon so strongly, would it have been worse off? Perhaps over 100 Jews would have been alive today, for a more effective response? The fault lies with Bush, Condi and the State Dept, not to forgive Syria's mischief in all of this. But, one thing, I would have attacked Damascus..and brought down Assad. He is the real culprit..pulling the Hezbollah strings.
