This report is unequivocal in saying that Iran's nuclear WEAPONS program was suspended in 2003. What remains in operation now is clearly a CIVILIAN nuclear program. Which involves, inevitably, the enrichment of uranium. Iran is perfectly entitled to enrich uranium under the terms of the NPT, so long as it is doing so for CIVILIAN purposes. Now, having said this, I read everyone here saying that this report pulls the rug out from under the hawks who want to bomb Iran, and leaves the USA with only greatly increased sanctions. Huh???????? If Iran's nuclear program is purely concerning itself with CIVILIAN power generation then there *is* *no* *justification* *for* *any* *action* *against* *Iran*. None. No military action is justified No sanctions are justified. Iran is allowed to do what this report states that Iran is doing. There is no reason to complain, and there is not reason to sanction.
