Where did Haaretz get this quotation: "What I will take to the UN will be the suffering and concerns of our people that have been taking place over 63 years living under the occupation." In the portions of the speech published so far by Maan and Wafa Abbas says: “We go to the UN in the full hope of gaining membership for Palestine. I shall convey to the UN the suffering endured by our people for 63 years. So far more than 126 states have recognized the Palestinian state.” In another portion of the speech he says, We go there to make the world face its responsibilities, and to obtain full membership of the UN for the state of Palestine. We are the only people in the world still under occupation. We are going there to convery to the UN the suffering endured by our people for 63 years.” Then again he says, “We are not going there with the aim of delegitimizing Israel or isolating her, for Israel is recognized as a state and no one can isolate it. Rather we want to isolate the policy of occupation, and to delegitimize the occupation.”
