It should come as no surprize that our Israeli friends and their American supporters want to hurt the Iranian population via sanctions or military action in order to get at their leadership: that is the same policy they apply to the native population of Palestine! I am no supporter of Iranian nukes either, but the sad truth is that military action cannot stop this development according to Israel's own defense minister and US military analysts! So that leaves sanctions, which have rarely worked. They did not work on Cuba, so why should they work on oil-rich Iran with its porous borders and so many willing international traders??? Better to support the Iranian opposition, which reject the concept of an "enemy state" with respect to Israel and are far more likely to be conciliatory on the nuclear issue. In any case, Pakistan already has nukes and they appear to be spreading the technology to whoever is willing to pay!!
