Thanks for the examples of British 'anti-semitism' Arthur, but things really aren't that bad over here. If a Jew was spinkled with petrol and set on fire,that is obviously appalling,but if it did take place it is a unique incident. There are a few idiots who attack graveyards, yes, but again, there are very few of them. The BBC, whatever you may hear, is certainly not anti-semitic and basically not anti-Israel. I know. I watch it. These days, it is very careful to balance any criticism of Israel with comments from Israeli government spokesmen. The Guardian does the same. And in any case, the Guardian's mildly pro-Palestinian position is more than countered by more pro-Isreali and much bigger newspapers like The Telegraph and the Murdoch press. Look at the postings from British Jews on this forum. Most of them agree, anti-Semitism is not a very big problem in Britain.
