It is not surprising that the SA Zionist Federation, Beth Din and Orthodox Synagogues have colluded on such a shameful act. Regardless of one's opinion on Goldstone's report, it shows that SA Jewish leadership has no interest in promoting tolerance in its own community. For example, Left wing and liberal jews in SA are increasingly receiving death threats from fellow SA jews. But I guess none of this is surprising if you look at the SA Jewish Leadership -all religious right-wingers and none more so than the Chief Rabbi, who no doubt was integrally involved in this decision behind the scenes.

Why this liberal Zionist now supports BDS

Calling the occupation 'unsustainable' is how liberal Zionists ease their conscience and excuse their timidity, by telling themselves it can’t last. But it will last – unless we start acting more like radicals.
