Especially if you think it is the only stable nation in the Middle East. Have you looked out your window lately? Modern Israel is a theocratic and military state, that has actively been at war for over 60 years. It is a globally unpopular, and widely recognized as an illegal and unsustainable occupying force, with massive political and religious rifts growing ever deeper throughout its domestic Jewish communities, let alone the oppressed minority groups. Rife social and financial inequality is bubbling over into the streets and about to hit boiling point, while the so called democratic politicians squabble over whose lobby groups they should pander to first and foremost and how to keep the population living in eternal and imminent fear of invasion or death from across the border. We are not so much different to many of our neighbors after all Mock Kerry all you want, but know this. By his obstinate intervention, he is driving a very firm and almost impenetrable wedge between Israeli and ever tiring Europe, in turn proving an Iron Dome defense from any and all UN and global intervention by linking US efforts with the success of even the flimsiest of peace deals.
