Israel handled the matter of the ship very well. A ship, unwittingly carrying contraband, was intercepted in international waters by a naval vessel, boarded with proper restraint and searched to reveal the contraband. The ship was then escorted to a location where the contraband was seized and the ship was allowed to proceed. This is not 'piracy' in any sense of the word. The only harm to the ship's crew and the shipping company is some inconvenience and demurrage. Criticism of Israel's actions is not justified by the facts.
