It's alarming that in the past couple weeks, Rami Ayyad, a Gazan Christian, was kidnapped and murdered by extremist Muslims for being Christian. It's even more alarming that less than two weeks later, my church in Jerusalem, who does amazing humanitarian work in the country of Israel and other places, is burned by extremist Jews. At the heart of all three monotheistic religions is a love for God - practice that love by showing love to your neighbors, no matter what they might do to you. Practice love. Forgive and continue to show love through mitzvot, feeding the poor, healing the sick, taking care of orphans and widows. Practice love of God in this way.
