it's a global issue, certainly amongst the Western countries, and sadly governments ignoring the inequities of generational differences (or luck for that matter), are going to have to contend with mass dependency and loss of revenue. If housing did not increase in value so ridiculously, then perhaps the younger generations would have any easier time. As it stands, no one should be judgemental of anyone's decision to remain childless or single, when economics is the culprit and not them. Best article written for the year so far Mr. Misgav.
