    ...the Arab world, with all its oil, decides to cut a rumored secret deal with the US in exchange for its annulment of all diplomatic relations and military support for Israel. How bad do Americans want cheap oil? How bad do the Arabs want to destroy Israel? If the answer to both questions is "Bad enough" then His appointed time is near. Call me a religious fanatic/doomsayer, but this is the day the prophets warned us about. And they were prophets of long ago, not your present-day street-corner lunatics. The prophets died long ago and had no motivation to make up scary stories for us who live in the now. How could they know what the scenario would be, that Israel would be blotted out for hundreds of years, completely forgotten, only to return and face a world of hostility, including superpowers that didn't exist way back then. Pray. It's a start. And there will be a finish.
