It is not true that the Palestinians have simply 'lost' in the subsequent years. Who after all is continually recognized, and considered by the overwhelming majority of nations at the U.N.? Who is provided with more aid per/ capital than most poor peoples? Who in other words has intensified its national and religious identity in all these years? And who too, and this also part of the Palestinian Arab treasure has succeeded on keeping on the agenda of the world a 'refugee' issue which could have and should have been solved within the past sixty years? The Palestinian Arabs have won the world- attention game, have succeeded in making themselves appear as the number one victims of mankind. Just as Arafat had everything to lose by ceasing to be what he was best at, a terrorist so the Palestinians have their own mythical identity to lose by making peace with us.
