IF the owner of the property sold willingly, without duress and for a reasonable price to an Israeli then living in a location in East Jerusalem is not a violation of international law. The Fourth Geneva Convention forbids a nation for dispossessing indigenous peoples an inhabiting occupied territory with it's nationals. It does not prohibit transfer of land by legitimate processes.
