Several of the assertions made by the author are technical nonsense, and are not true. Reactors do not have to have cooling towers. Direct cooling from a river or seawater is commonplace. Plutonium is not toxic like a poison. When ingested it is no more harmful than any heavy metal. People have lived 50 years or more with significant amounts of plutoniumin the their bodeis. If very small particles are breathed there is a chance of getting lung cancer after a period of time. Any notion killing millions of people with a gram of plotonium is without basis. I have been in the nuclear business for 50 years and it still surpprising to me to see the misinformaiton that is spread around.
