    Around 60,000 Norwegians have participated in 27 UN peacekeeping operations. Norway is the world ?s 'peace superpower' having been involved in brokering peace in some 15 conflicts across the world stretching from Columbia to the Philippines. Norway is also the world's largest per capita aid donor. Norway will be in the fore front of a growing number of countries all over the world,who are striving to bring about peace between Israelis and Palestinians through the eestablishement of An Indepent Palestinian state on the West Bank and Gaza living side by side with Israel. No wonder the chicken hawks , are having a fit , they know how much the Norwegians despise them , their war mongering, and what the malice they represent. As Norway continue to lead the way , in pursuit of the noble cause of peace around the world , it is telling that Norway ?s detractors could think of nothing else to say other than , (But Norway hunts whales !!)
