As for the US selling advanced bombs to the Saudis, do you really think this will make the area more stable? Are you that foolish? Have you ever heard of the terms "powder keg"? I know you've heard of the mythical term "smoking gun." The point is the Iraq war has failed to bring about everything it cited as its mission for going to war. Sure, Saddam is deposed, but has that made the Iraqi people safer, when they have to deal with suicide bombers and sectarian death squads? In the midst of such violence, whatever make-believe democracy that was created is irrelevant. Giving the Saudis bombs will only intensify the civil war and enlarge it to regional status. Yes, the past is done, but people like you should learn from it, all the same, so you don't repeat the same disastrous mistakes.
