US power in the ME is what it is and will not change. The question is whether the US wants to be "in charge" of what happens over there and frankly most Americans are tired of serving as the policemen of your insane region. Egypt will survive as it has for thousands of years and we all pray they will choose democracy instead of radical Islamism to move forward.
