It didn't, it doesn't, it won't. If the IDF is rotten, then there are only pockets in Israel that aren't. The critical mass of corruption that turned a country with highest moral standards into Bibiland has been reached. Deeri, Sharon, Olmert, Lieberman, Yishai, Barak, Katzav, and now Boaz Harpaz and his protector, Gaby Ashkenazi have a sense that to be corrupt is OK, that "we are at war", or that Macchiavelism is fine for an embattled, threatened country. The opposite is true: A pure and clean soul is the best defense, together with deterrence, intelligence, anticipation, moral superiority and relentless motivation stemming from spirituality. Israel is not a banana republic, because the Judiciary is independent and here and there really brings the big and corrupt fish down. But is little and late usually. It's rather a Falafel country, whose oil hasn't been changed, and harms the health of the entire society.
