There are no saints anywhere. There are only humans who are sometimes good and sometimes bad, and some people make good choices more often than other people do. For earthbound humans to give a 'heavenly' title to someone is absurd. But we Jews really don't have a say in any of this mishigas. The whole world could call Pius a 'saint' but that doesn't make him one.
