There is no right of return. Even UNR 194 is legally not binding. Furthermore, refugee rights, to the extent they exist, generally refer to the actual refugees, not their descendants. The claim by descendants of Palestinian Arab refugees to settle in Israel is simply not morally or legally defensible. But, as is often the case with Arab politics, the goal here is as much one of propaganda as it is reality. They hope their propaganda will eventually create a different reality, and their propaganda should be opposed.
