Mr. Sarid, My wife has a theory that Israel's big problems stem from no one wantting take responsibility for their mistakes. We see it in the schools, on the roads and in public life. By drawing the Machiavellian "ends justify the means" card, your political agenda is served. However, you embody my wife's assertion by removing even the lightest shade of guilt from the journalist, the journal and the source. If found guilty, what Anat Kam did was a fundamental breach of national security and she knew what she was doing. So don't preach about endangering our sons when your agenda encourages just such behavior. BTW, quoting Jesus to open your editorial - nice touch. Very international. (Don't worry. I won't reveal your source.)
