And when did Israel last attack Syria? Just a few years ago? How long have you, Aaron C, been totally out of touch with reality? Syria is not what I would like to see in any nation. But it ceased to be any real threat in late 1973 when it halted instead of pouring down off the Golan Heights. At that moment it proved in REALITY that it had given up on any delusion of expunging Israel. Thank god that happened because a friend of mine, a reservist in artillery, survived because of that failure to press the Syrian advantage.
