Of course it is a frustrating and frightning prospect that a cease fire comes too early, ie that Hizbollah will remain in tact for 80% and will be a 100% up and running again within two years, even more popular in the Arab street that will sense: Hey, we CAN resist and perhaps destroy Israel one day, Allah willing. The fuel tanks of hatred will be refilled. But the good news is, that Israel and its friendly allies will realize that a poor job has been done in deterring terrorist groups. Terrorists operating from tunnels and from within civilian areas cannot be targeted directly. So you have to deter THE HOST and THOSE THAT SUPPLY THEM with weaponry and financial means. So when the cease fire is there, Israel and the U.S. just have to solemly promise Iran and Syria that if ever another soldier is abducted or killed by Hezbollah, let alone a rocket flies into Israel, they will pay the highest thinkable price - destruction of their country with WMD. Only then peace will prevail.
