As a keen hiker myself I am fortunate to live in a country where we have wonderful long-distance hiking trails. At times they do cross private land and go close to private homes but the disruption caused to the people who live there is minimal. Why? Firstly, hikers are very aware of their surroundings and take special care not to be intrusive and secondly, in overall terms not that many people choose to hike anyway. To be able to do a complete circuit of the Kinneret would be wonderful! No-one should be entitled to stop that from happening.
