    How far does Hamas have to throw the door open for Israel to respond in kind? The right response from Israel would have been to affirm the inevitablity of a viable Palestinian state as a product of negotiations. A State where terrorist militias will no longer serve any purpose. Instead we get the same old attitude that NO ONE is good enough for Israel to discuss peace with. Israel is waiting for the Palestinians to elect a Jewish leader before Israel will talk with them. And not just an ordinary Jewish leader. They have to be a pro-settler, pro-zionist Orthodox Jew who knows where to get some good Kosher food to go right before the Sabbath begins. Well, the world (including the US) is getting sick you your coy games. If you wait until you are forced into negotiations by the world's only superpower, you will lose the upper hand in negotiations. Negotiate now from strength, get treaties and borders NOW before the US withdraws from Iraq leaving Israel alone again.
