Every state and their armies assess weaker and stronger threats and occasionally take steps, either diplomatic ones or military ones. But in Israel war fiction seems to be part of everyday culture. In fact, when meeting new people, you never really know what to think of them, but thank God, I've retained some naiveté in my encounters with other people, probably also because I am not always bombarded with the latest apocalypse scenarios which are developping in the minds of professional paranoids.
